Literatura española y género pretende ser una introducción al análisis literario desde la perspectiva de género, problemática crítica aún escasamente incorporada al curriculum de estudios de Grado en la universidad española. El/la estudiante podrá acercarse con los contenidos de este manual a una lectura de la historia literaria desde los estudios de género, atendiendo a la recuperación historiográfica de la autoría femenina y al análisis de la producción de las principales escritoras a lo largo de la historia. Se incluyen una amplia nómina de autoras y una propuesta de análisis de una producción literaria que exige una metodología y unas categorías de análisis propias, que vienen de una realidad cultural y social distinta a la que la historiografía ha codificado sobre la producción masculina.
